Rope Access

Professional Rescue Innovations offers high and low angle rescue training. These courses will give responders hands-on experience in rope rescue procedures and the content will adhere to NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670. The purpose of this course is to explain basic strategies to safeguard responders & health and safety when dealing with potential dangers associated with high and low angle rope rescue emergencies. Individuals will gain basic knowledge in tying knots, new equipment, proper anchoring, and proper patient packaging. These courses allow responders to work together to understand the patient needs.

  • Confined Space Entrant
    Confined space entrant requires specific steps to understand a confined space and how to safely work in this hazardous space. In this class we will go over what classifies as a confined space, permit vs. non-permit, steps to create a safe working environment, and OSHA guidelines that need to be followed. Confined spaces are all around us from tank cars to hoppers to waterworks systems and how well we understand the dangers of these spaces guide us to have the safest working environment we can have. PRI provides both classroom and hands-on training about conducting work in confined spaces to set you up for a successful workday. Course will cover: - Regulations covering confined spaces - Non-Permit vs. Permit required spaces - Attendant, Supervisor, and Entrant duties - Proper documentation - Air monitoring equipment - Proper PPE and inspection
  • Confined Space Rescuer
    For confined space rescuer we will be building on the information provided by confined space entrant. Additionally this class will focus on the hands-on abilities of executing a rescue through a vertical space and horizontal. Many problems can occur while someone is working in a confined space and we have to be able to adapt to all possible challenges to execute the rescue. PRI will provide old and innovative techniques to allow all students to find the best way to execute a rescue. Objectives covered: Hazard identification Rescue team duties Proper rescue documentation Air monitoring Proper PPE Effective rescue techniques
